Delta Energy Park
The Delta Energy Park is a modern natural gas-fired combined cycle plant and the largest utility in Michigan that generates coal-free power. This new facility replaced the Lansing Board of Water and Light’s coal-fired Eckert Power Station and the Erickson Power Station, reducing carbon emissions by an impressive 80%.
With three gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generators, a steam turbine, plus a new switchyard and cooling tower, LBWL’s updated facility generates 250 megawatts for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in the greater Lansing area. Swan Electric is proud to have been part of a project that has had a significant positive environmental impact on our community.
